I thought only beefy Italian guys and/or migrant Mexican workers still did this?

[/ QUOTE ]

I only catcall to beefy italians/migrant mexican workers.

Girls do it too though, when I had my old wrangler, I used to get one of two carful of chicks yell at me on the road a day, if I had the top off.

I always thought this was a joke that was exagerated by the media until I was going through chicago and there was some working yelling at some ladies during thier lunch time. It was very bizar.

Contrary to popular belief I'm not married to Patrick. I do look good in daisy dukes though.

I'm serious, though. I've never understood why guys do this (except for maybe the construction workers).

[/ QUOTE ]

why is it ok for construction workers to do this?
btw i do it all the time remaining habit from working construction i guess and don't think i'll achieve anything by it except maybe some comic relief...normally the things i yell out are pretty funny (e.g. miss you wanna go steady. or i'll buy you an icecream if you show me you [censored])or at least so i think..at the end of the day i think its just boys being boys

I assume it's less 'cause they think the girl will notice, and more like some sort of "I saw the hot chick" first statement for their friends or something.

Either that or they're really, really dumb.
