Default Back to the important issues on Stars

When the hell is Stars going to have a legitimately good gift card option? OneCall.com blows huge chunks. Its selection is terrible. Get me some Amazon back or at least a decent electronics store that's more than TVs, cables, cameras, and crappy headphones. Get me some game consoles, some CDs, something.

Less $/FPP. Maybe make the bonuses better, then. That would be even better.

I agree. Cash is like the king of gift cards.

I agree, too. However, if there's something you want to buy anyway, the gift cards generally give better value, as they must get them at some sort of a discount. I'm all for a better bonus or even better yet, just cash back, but that's a different thread.

Due to the legal climate, Amazon US stopped doing business with Stars. Stars didn't get rid of them on purpose. They've said on a few occasions here they would love to get Amazon USA gift certificates back if they could.

I've just been doing the $1500 for 100k points cash-back thing for SN's.

1.5 cents per point isn't too terrible a deal and I get the cash now instead of trying to find some random item I don't really need/want.

Debating trying to get some kind of $3k gas-card or something via the concierge service sometime in the future.

But concierge is not THAT huge a savings compared with just getting the cash for the SN level.
