100bb cash games have a higher learning curve, so it depends how good you are already.

Without a doubt, 10nl offers a much higher potential return than a $5 donk-n-go.

You can expect to make 10% from a SNG.
.55 amounts to about 2.5ptbb/100 for 10nl.

You can easily beat 10nl for 4ptbb/100 with a little practice.

If you are playing on FT or somewhere with RB, you will get much more back at the end of the month from cash games.

Note:
I started out as a sit-n-go player. After about 2,000 SNGs I switched over to cash games.

Another thing about "quick" money:

You can prob 8 table $5 sng or 10nl and make more per hour.

I wouldn't be concerned with making a lot now.

Just focus on getting better and then moving up.

I wouldn't play more than 3-4 tables right now.

While the win rates are debatable, they should be compared over the same period, say one table-hour. In one table-hour, you might play 75 cash game hands (depending on the site and table conditions), so you would need to multiply your BB/100 by 0.75. You might play two SNGs on average, so you should multiply your ROI by 2 to get your win rate per table-hour.
