Default FT200 I see what you did there

Full Tilt Poker, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

Hero (BB): $1,060.30
UTG: $375
CO: $376.55
BTN: $266.70
SB: $241.75

Pre-Flop: X X dealt to Hero (BB)
UTG calls $2, CO folds, BTN calls $2, SB calls $1, Hero checks

Flop: ($8) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG bets $6, 2 folds, Hero calls $6

Turn: ($20) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $142

What range do we put villain on and what hand would we need to continue?

Would this change if villain is 75/30/4 maniac, 30/20/3 lagtard or 20/5/2 donktard?

Villain thinks a little, then bets, so we are assuming it isn't a misclick.

Note stacksizes.

are there any hands you call this with except you hold (2nd)nuts ?

isn't that a push or fold decision ?

with J7cc/QJ I push

I keep seeing plays exactly like this @ 1/2 on FT. The guy who shoved gets called often as not and often as not he's holding the nuts or damn near. At times holding like K high though the guy prone to doing this with K high isn't likely to have $375 in front of him to do it with.

I can't imagine why you want to go jamming 180ish BB (assuming you just shove because if you call he's shoving any river anyway I would think) into a limped pot where the villain could have pretty much anything. I mean a random 6 beats you, even if you have the current nuts villain could be freerolling with same hand as you in clubs for a flush to beat you right?

Even if the villain is the biggest idiot in the world, he limped - he could have the nuts or air and if he's prone to doing this with air, wait til you have a good hand and he does it.

I'd happily shove with QcJc but I'd be ready for my head to explode if the river is a club and villain has Ac7C for the nut flush. I'd be sort of not thrilled but still shove with QJo but man would a flush annoy me. I might actually manage to fold a set here.

If villain is an extreme 70/35/4 maniac over a significant sample (>50 for those stats), you can probably justify calling a set here. That's an extreme. Anything more reasonable and you can only call with J7 or QJ or 7xcc.

We can note stack sizes, but more importantly note turn pot size. People definitely make this move with J7 thinking "HAHA IM SO TRICKY HE'LL CALL ME WITH 7 THINKING HES GOT NUTS"

I would call with J7 vs any of thosep players, and fold 7x to any of them.

If villain is 70/30/4 and i don't have a read that he only overpushes the nuts (like montagnais), i call with any 9 or T.

People might overbet bluff, but seriously, 7.5 times potsize? I don't buy it.
