Default Aces and nasty board

Full Tilt 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Villain is 31/6/1.3 AF after 100 hands.

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 2 folds, Hero raises, 5 folds, UTG calls.

Flop: (5.50 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG bets, Hero raises, UTG 3-bets, Hero calls.

Yeah, probably a cap. I see monsters everywhere nowdays. While i don't think he'd 3bet with just top pair, it could be a pair + draw combo.

Turn: (6.25 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG bets, Hero calls.

River: (8.25 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG bets, Hero beats what exactly ? Some weirdly played JJ-QQ, 98/J9 pair draw combos.

I have the same problem with quite passive players
But he can have AT or T9 here so cap is probably good.

I have problem with use stats and adjust my play to them with situation like this hand.

I think paying off is pretty clear. It could be the hands you mention or KK, 88 also.

I don't think capping is that good. Even the hands we beat are often close to even money and he can have many hands that beats us. I prefer raising the equity boosting turn.

i often play it this way and pray on the river. this guy isnt that aggro and his PFR suggests he would limp medium pairs UTG. cap flop or just call down the 3 bet...its all good. what you lose in value when you dont cap may well get made up by him thinking his overplayed 2nd beat hand = good because u didnt cap. 0.5SB either way. meh.
