OMG, I folded a set
No particular reads on villain, but he is not ultra aggressive or super loose or anything. I checked the flop to induce a bluff on the turn or let him try to value bet something like AK. After I raise him big and he pushes in, i had him pegged for KK. I don't think he is bluffing in this spot and I don't think he would push this hard with AK or KQ. One leak in my game lately has been not trusting my reads. I felt pretty confident in my read, went with it, and I actually folded the hand relatively quickly for a set. Can anyone else fold this hand? or is this far too weak?\

I never fold this, because its too often random king/A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]/AA/wacky two pair/air for me to lay down the set.
If you didn't think he would do this with AK/KQ and you want to trust your read, fair enough.

I'm not folding bottom set on this dry of a board without a super super SUPER read.
Why can't this be AA or AK? Villian checks dry flop intending to stack an inferior hand??? I'm calling this all day and if I'm up against a bigger set so be it. I think we need a great read to lay this down IMO
