[100NL] What\'s my turn line?
Villain has been at the table around 10 hands, so he's largely an unknown to me and I should be an unknown to him. First impression was that he's kinda on the loose side.
What's my turn line? I wanna bet, but what if he shoves? Party Poker, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter MP: $81.43 CO: $109.63 BTN: $63.16 Hero (SB): $153.27 BB: $101.33 UTG: $103.13 Pre-Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB) 2 folds, CO calls $1, BTN folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $5</font>, BB folds, CO calls $4 Flop: ($11) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $8</font>, CO calls $8 Turn: ($27) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero ??? |

Re: [100NL] What\'s my turn line?
At first I thought about checking and planning to call based on what odds he gives us if he bets.
But I think bet/folding is clearly better. We need to keep the betting lead... if he flat calls we can still pair the board... and I don't think JUST a flush draw would raise this turn. |

Re: [100NL] What\'s my turn line?
I like b/f bc I like to stay in control of the hand and I think that we are still ahead of him most of the time here and then probably c/f fold river w/o a read if we dot fill up

Re: [100NL] What\'s my turn line?
I like to check here willing to call a 1/2 pot size bet looking to fill up on the river. I think he'll call a large bet with a Q on the river even if the board pairs.
