Step by Step Instructions on how to make Prima Table Mods (very easy)
It just seemed like some people were requesting Prima Table Mods (including myself)so I went about trying to figure out how (sorry if this is common knowledge). Here is how you do it:
You can basically use any premade mod... I like the ones from holdemreview.com (1) download the table mod, extract, etc.... (2) open up the image, right click the image and select "edit" (use Paint) (3) Go to the "Images" tab and select "Attributes" (4) Under the units section choose pixels and change the width and height too 800 and 600. (5) Save the image (6) Rename the image to "table6.dat" for 6 max "table10.dat" for 10 max (7) Go to the folder in Prima that has your tables... for BetHoldEm it is C:\Program Files\betholdemMPP\betholdem and look for your respective table: table 6, table 10, etc (8) Move the old table image to another folder (7) Put the mod into that folder and your done. Once again I'm sorry if this is common knowledge. Now I need to figure out how to change the cards. If anyone knows please chime in. |

Re: Step by Step Instructions on how to make Prima Table Mods (very ea
This still works for me. Try searching for all table6.dat or table10.dat files (at least for me there are several pigeonholed in different sub directories in my Prima Skin main directory, and a specific one had to be changed for the mod to take effect) and also try making the file "read only" (right click and check the box) after you've modified it.
As for the cards, I see several "DECK_..." files, but I'm unable to see what they look like since renaming them with a .bmp extension yields an unreadable file (whereas if you rename table6.dat to table6.bmp you can actually open it in paint). I'd really like to know how to mod the cards though. |

I have modded the cards.
Download "the gimp" and it will show you the files. |

Re: Step by Step Instructions on how to make Prima Table Mods (very ea
How did you cope with the fact that the Prima cards have a different aspect ratio than the Party ones? When I resize my party cards to fit the Prima scale, they look really terrible.

I removed some pixels.
The white border, 1 pixel by 1 pixel was removed, and then i shrunk it some |
