Perhaps I should look at my preflop raise from the BB? I do a lot of calling Cutoff or Button raisers with marginal holdings knowing I'm getting 3-to-1. Should I have more of a "if I'm playing it from the BB, I'm raising with it" mentality?

If youre getting retarded after making a correct preflop raise, then just dont get retarded. Dont stop raising it preflop. Are you raising after limpers with stuff like QJs JTs A9s? 11.5 seems so low.

I tend to either open-raise or 3-bet a raiser but not raise after a limper too often unless it's an obvious raising hand.

It is better to raise after a limper...unless you have something like JTs that prefers a multiway pot. You want to isolate the limper and create dead money in the pot. Not to mention that you will give the perception of a bigger hand than you may have simply because people think if you raise after there is already a raiser you are not raising to steal. Make sense?
