Villain was 35/8/1,5 over 50 hands, had a splitpot with AQ vs AQ on an A high flop.

What are you expecting him to fold by raising? He raises 8% of hands and he min-3bet... you can pray he calls with AK. Or you can call and hope he shuts down. Or you can just fold.
