Re: AJ hand 10r (end of rebuy stage)
against an MP1 raise I usually fold AJs preflop.
def. fold it on the flop - do you think you will ever see AT or lower here? |

I guess you're right.
PF fold sounds right. |

Re: AJ hand 10r (end of rebuy stage)
I doubt you'd see AT or lower, but you might see TT-KK, finding out if the one overcard on the board has them beat. 90% of pot sized is probably too big a bet for that though.

Re: AJ hand 10r (end of rebuy stage)
IMO this is raise or fold pf...HATE HATE calling AJ/AQ.
As played, no reads fold flop. -ZEN |

Re: AJ hand 10r (end of rebuy stage)
Hmmm...if I get to this spot I'm not folding on the flop...might be a leak of mine though...semi-bump for further thoughts I guess.
Preflop is interesting. I don't agree with the "HATE HATE calling AJ/AQ", I think there are a lot of spots 25-30BB deep where coldcalling especially AQ is the optimal play. Not sure here...you're short enough such that you can consider shoving & calling sucks if we have to fold this flop...maybe just fold readless & shove against loosish players but it's a close decision. |
