If you're buying a system for serious poker use, you're going to be accumulating a LOT of hours behind that monitor. This is the one item you DO NOT want to get cheap about.

Not a good choice. If you're going with 20" you gotta get the standard with 1600x1200, not the widescreens. In other words, Dell 2007FP or Samsung 204B.

I still haven't figured out quite what an analog LCD is, but it can't be good

Go to fatwallet and get yourself a $350 off coupon. Use it to buy a system priced at $1,000 or more. I put together a better system that costs less than what you're paying. I also bumped up the video card so in case you get a 30" monitor down the road your system can handle it. Then take the $350 you save and buy a standard 20" monitor at a local Best Buy or somewhere. You'll have the added benefit of being able to easily return/replace it if it has dead pixels.
