[ QUOTE ]
Why would the A's trade Zito?

[/ QUOTE ]

Because he sucks and he's in the last year of his contract.

Default Bonds

stick a fork in him. Street delivered one meatball Bonds of yesteryear would have crushed. Instead he barely made contact.

From Nico's recap of today's game on Athletics Nation:

"But the story tonight really was the A's injuries. In the 8th inning, Ken Macha went to Justin Duchscherer, but it was Steve Karsay and Karsay surrendered a homerun. Then Macha went to Joe Kennedy, but it was Randy Kiesler and Kiesler gave up a ringing double. So he turned it over to Calero in the 10th, but Calero had already been used in the 7th so it was Ron Flores."

.500 and we're only a game back, when this team gets healthy it's gonna be sick

Yea that's how I feel as well. I would really like to see Dan Johnson sent down to the minors. Scutaro also killed us today with shyte defense and of course he sucks swinging the bat. Acutally the A's played like crapola. It's easy to blame the loss on our AAA bullpen but we should've won the game. Kendall and that effed up steal attempt with 2 outs and Swisher batting. What a [censored] knucklehead. I really want Melhuse to get more time behind the plate. Also Thomas couldn't get the ball out of the infield with 1 out and a runner on third.

The Dodgers have to feel awesome about the Bradley/Perez for Ethier trade right now.

Hah. I'd rather hear the M's knocking than those stupid Angels . The season's been frustrating so far, that's for sure.
