PLO/8 at Wynn or 40 HORSE at Venetian?
Last night the Wynn started a 5/5 PLO/8 game. When we sat down, we agreed to a mixed game of 5/5 PLO and 5/5 PLO/8. Someone else at the table mentioned that it (PLO/8) doesn't run very often. How likely is it that it will run again tonight? I'm trying to decide between that and the 40 HORSE at Venetian

I've never seen PLO/8 run in Vegas. Never. Not once.
PLO runs once a month at the Wynn, usually 5/10 uncapped (though I saw 1/3 uncapped once). They more typically run LO8 10-20 half-kill or the mixed game.

Yes, several players were very surprised that it got started. When I arrived in the room, the interest list for the PLO/8 game was 10-deep. I was shocked when they actually called it. Then shockeder when it got off.

If I asked for an interest list I would say something like, 2-4 PLO/PLO8 mixed game. Not big enough?
