2/4 No hand makes sense
I honeslty have no idea what he has. Villain is 21/17/3 regular, and seems good. We have been clashing preflop/on the flop but there has been no large postflop confrontations between us.

Re: 2/4 No hand makes sense
Looks like a fold. he has a set very often imo. He's not doing this for value with worse either, and his bluff frequency won't be high enough given your read.

Thoughts on his range? [/ QUOTE ] Set or former made hand that doesn't want to call your river bet. I'd expect a solid reg to raise this flop with a set almost always, especially with another player yet to act, and even more so because you've been clashing. Your hand looks to be a one pair Ace a lot on the river, IMO, and if he's the bluffing type, this looks like a decent spot. I'd be afraid of 99, but that's it. I think he'll show up with something like 78 or 67 once in a while as well. [ QUOTE ] i've played sets like this before [/ QUOTE ] Why? It seems pretty risky with the other player in there. |

Re: 2/4 No hand makes sense
75s seems pretty possible, but I think worse 2 pairs are also in his range.

Its not bb is going to auto-peel here, and your range here is going to be wide. |

Re: 2/4 No hand makes sense
if he's capable of bluff-CRing rivers, then u might have to call
ur hand looks transparent, like u have AK or AQ and rivered an ace...if he's capable of making aggro moves like this, then i think he shows up with small-pair-turned-into-bluff a lot |

Re: 2/4 No hand makes sense
I've played with this guy a ton and I would fold river pretty quick. This is almost never a bluff IMO, and if he wanted to make a thin value c/r with a worse 2 pair he's not going to stick his whole stack in.

Re: 2/4 No hand makes sense
Also, unless you have a TON of history, solid TAGs never take these weird lines that don't make sense without the nuts or near nuts in my experience.
