It does double as an acronym.

Do you know what it is? I don't remember that from the book and don't see it online anywhere (admittedly I didn't look very hard).

[/ QUOTE ]

it was in one of the FO chats on BP, not sure which one but there aren't too many so it wouldn't be that hard to find.

If you look at the numbers, Brunell was having a better year last year when they pulled him, than Campbell is having this year.

[/ QUOTE ]

God I hate statheads. Ask any Redskins fan if they think Campbell this year or Brunell last year was/is better. The results won't be close.

Go back to 1987 and ask every baseball fan you find whether it's more important to have speed at the top of the lineup or guys who get on base. The results won't even be close.

Perception only gets you so far.

That's not to say your wrong -- in fact, the stats for the two are pretty similar -- but your "ask any Redskins fan" test is pretty meaningless.

Also, this is JC's third (or fourth) year in the league. Palmer was amazing his third year in the league... and he sat on the bench for a full year behind Kitna. That doesn't bode well for Campbell.

[/ QUOTE ]
He'll likely never be as good as Palmer. But so what? Palmer is probably the third best QB in the league. Campbell can retain his starting job for a long time without being a top 5 QB.
