Default Presidential Candidates and Free Speech Zones

How come none of them talk about giving us our freedom of speech back, other than Ron Paul?

Are you sure about this?

The reason the candidates don't say anything is because the Secret Service likes it like this. If West Wing is at all accurate, the Secret Service basically does their thing regardless of the President's wishes.

Are you aware that West Wing is a work of fiction developed and produced by Hollywood?

My understanding is, they get most of their plot lines from consultants who worked in the White House. I used to see several of the names in their credits on CNN including Bush Senior's Chief of Staff.

You don't get your freedom from the government, you hold your freedom against the government. You want your freedom of speech back? Get out there and start bull horning.

If you go to an event, or even standing on the road where Bush is going to drive by, and you have an "Impeach Bush" sign, you are going to have the S.S. escort you to the "free speech" zone, several hundred yards away from the route the motorcade is going to take.
