Default Sun Mil PostFlop Line Check w/ AA

I had been 3betting just about every open from the 2players on my right as they were running 33/25 each.

Im running at 18/13/5
Thoughts on 3bet size

Did I play it optimally or should I check/shove hoping to catch a bluff

This is completely brainless. If you did anything else but go allin you would be playing terribly. What other option could you possibly consider here on a J97 board when the pot is signifigantly larger than your stack?

I probably make it 35k preflop. Postflop is obv standard, what possible line would you suggest otherwise that isn't retarded?

This is interesting. The two replies both act like it would be totally retarded not to play it as you did. I would definately check.

If he has AJ, KJ, QQ, KK you are stacking him regardless.
If he has JJJ 777 999 he is stacking you regardless.
if he has AQ AK TT 88 JT or anything else which he might very well bluff the play is to check and let him bluff. He's aggressive let him give you his chips. If he has a draw hes not gonna check behind I see him sticking it in a lot with missed hands when you check.

I definately think the play here is to check here and let him bluff but two better players say otherwise can someone explain this to me?

Because he doesn't bluff as much as you think he does and there's a very good chance he has at least 2 outs and will take the free card. Your calling range for him preflop is also absurdly loose, and even if he is calling you with JT preflop do you think he's capable of laying it down now?

People call, that's what they do. So shove and let him call you with any pair.

I thought it was standard, it was just my first time playing this high. The question was moreso the preflop 3bet size as opposed to the shove on the flop

DMACM, If you show strength pre flop, it looks very fishy when you check on that flop. I'd probably check an ace on that flop.

Stick it in and let him call with whatever.

Checking doesn't disguise your hand at all, in fact makes it look even more suspect/strong.

I wouldn't consider checking the flop unless he was retardedly aggressive.

When you 3bet pf and then check a flop people basically never bet. All checking does is give him a free card/let a scare card come on the turn. Get it in now.

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't take me long at all to find a spot where I 3-bet pre, checked flop, villain bets...

That said, you have to shove this flop!
