66 squeeze from 100r
utg is badbeatslayer, just showed up to the table but i'm pretty sure his utg opening range here is fairly wide and he is folding a ton of his range. mp3 is tony hibbert who had been playing pretty tight. there is 4k in the pot when it gets to me (40% of my stack). i'm not really worried about badbeatslayer or the button, so given that there's so much in the pot and i'm really only worried about one player, is this a standard/obvious shove? can calling here be more +ev than shoving?

Re: 66 squeeze from 100r
whoa whoa whoa folding is awful here... flatting the raise closing the action is unquestionably +ev getting like 6:1 immediate odds with 9k behind.

Re: 66 squeeze from 100r
There are at least 2 people in the hand who probably have pairs bigger than 66. Although Luke's range is wide, huge hands are part of it. I just don't see everyone folding here -- the two cold callers will be tempted to call if Luke folds, and if he calls you're probably in trouble unless he has AK, which would be a good result since it will prevent the others from calling. I think this is a call, against just one coldcaller I'd lean toward a jam.

Re: 66 squeeze from 100r
I've been in this spot a bunch and got called really light. People see you shove, think "wow this is such a great spot to squeeze, hes a good player, aggressive, and will probably squeeze a pretty wide range", and call you with like 77.
I prefer calling here because UTG, MP3 can be really really strong (and probably should be unless they are screwing around). |

Bleh I think I just call here.... although squeezing can't be that bad at all

Re: 66 squeeze from 100r
I didn't reply cause I felt it was pretty marginal. I think I lean towards squeezing and get snapped off by one of the callers 77-99.
