I'm bored, week one thoughts:

TOP 5 TEAMS: Colts, Patriots, Chargers, Bears, Steelers.

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL? Based on what you saw in week 1?

[ QUOTE ]

Biggest surprise: Indianapolis defense. Holy [censored]. This can't be for real. Against a really good offense just total domination.

[/ QUOTE ]

It's not for real. Saints offense was poor, Indy's defense will be exposed, they're not much different than last year.

Boldin doesn't look like he's trying at all on that flea flicker.

Wow, Leinart is playing awful football.

At the same time, you do have to tip your hat to the Niners secondary for smothering the Cardinals wide receivers.

[/ QUOTE ]He was covered like a blanket, Leinart should not have thrown it there. Clements had position and Boldin isn't all that fast.

[/ QUOTE ]It has to do with them being in the NFC. Watch when this team plays a someone who is not a powerhouse. Defense just flat out owned San Diego all game. A mediocre offensive performance wins on the road here 100% of the time. Yeah, Benson and Peterson fumbling is very problematic and Grossman is obviously pathetic. But, defense looks BETTER than last season (at end of last yr). Tommie Harris the most impressive defensive player I saw this week. Heck, maybe overall. Ignoring his offside non call force fumble on goalline. Without Harris they are a good defense, with him they are siiiiiick.

Clements loves to gambool & gets toasted a lot on those fakes. I think Leinart decided where the ball was going in the film room.
