What does button CC with that scares you? AA would have re-raised. Only 66 should have called. 76s or 65s might call, but you didn't give us a read. With the stacks, v two opponents, I am betting $1.25 on the flop just about every time.

As played and w/o a read, I call a river bet here, maybe not a push, but a reasonable one, yes.

I didn't check because I was scared. I checked because I didn't see worse hands calling me and didn't think my opponent was likely to have many outs (two outs for a pocket pair, pair the kicker for a king, an ace is a good card for them to hit on me). You think I am better off just betting this hand. Do you keep betting if called on the flop?

please re raise turn...... it makes your river play a lot easier, and i doubt your getting paid on the river with a worse hand, also, your getting stacked by 5 6... he wont dump k q or k j with a small turn raise. you need to bet turn to find out where you stand and your not losing any value by betting turn, flop check is fine.
