Default PSO question

I've never used PSO, but have been reading a lot about it lately on the board.

I'm thinking I'll do the Poker Room deal for 12,000 points and then the Sun Poker for 6000 points and then get a $100 Party bonus and a $75 gift card.

I still get the sign-up bonuses that the sites offer, right?

Is there any reason not to do these?

They are good deals. The only reason that one might consider not doing these is that you can not get rakeback later on these sites. Certainly, rakeback over 6000 points at sun poker would be a lot more than $75, and you would still have rakeback on the account.

If, however, you are looking for the hit-and-run decent bonus, then these sound like decent deals.

I just looked a little more at PSO, and it looks like the requirement for Sun Poker - 750 points - is one of the more tedious ones. I think along your lines it's better for me to do Absolute and Poker Room for the PSO points, and then do rakeback on SunPoker.

FYI - Don't forget that Absolute Poker offers rakeback too.

Last time I checked, Pokerroom was 9000. Did they increase it to 12000? Does that increase the requirements to clear the gift?

Yes, they increased it about a week ago. No, I believe the requirement is still the same as it was before (400 points).

Sun Poker is a low traffic site. I don't suggest trying to get rakeback there or even doing the PSO promo. Games are too sparce for either.

I think I'll do RB at Absolute, and Pokerroom's 12,000 points, and then sign up for 6,000 points at SunPoker. I figure that with the initial and monthly reloads I'll probably hit the hand requirements at Sun.

From what I gather Sun's requirements have recently increased from 500 points to 750, so that sucks pretty royal, but oh well.
