I just got upgraded to VIP so I phone then up to ask about promos and a guy with a sophisticated British (maybe Auzzie) accent (but actually harder to understand than the Indian accent)tells me theirs no APril promos yet because the Accelerator ran into the first week of April so it was technically an April bonus. But he gives me a nice welcome $50 bonus, no deposit required and only 250 raked hnds within a month!

Party VIP is worth it - the customer service is actually really good now. I haven't had a problem there and the answers I receive haven't been cut and pasted out of some [censored] text document.

All is good in VIP land for now... =)

Good one. The jackasses are still ignoring emails and offering off-topic nonsense when they do reply.

Also, paying that rake is rediculous when there are so many sites offering 35-100% rake rebates. Getting excited about the pittance they throw you in 'vip' bonuses is just sad (after playing ~140k hands for the A8, I should know).

If you're playing on party, you're paying their rake no matter what. VIP is a step up, so if you're playing there already then it really only helps - no sense bitching about the rake that everyone suffers.

With the VIP cs, I think you're dead wrong about the service. You probably wrote them with the same sarcastic tone you wrote in reply here and they just don't care enough.
