How do YOU play AKo early? 70 FPP sat.
I know the basic strategy is to play tight early and loosen up later, but sometimes when doing so I feel like I'm playing pretty damn weak. Is this standard? (Also keep in mind buy-in for this thing):
70 FPP Satelite to 'Stars Sunday Hundred Grand (lol). 1st- $11, 2nd-10th- $0. People in these things are insane and drop like flies early for the most part. PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) MP1 (t1360) MP2 (t1460) MP3 (t440) CO (t1330) Hero (t1470) SB (t1480) BB (t2224) UTG (t2236) UTG+1 (t1500) UTG+2 (t1500) Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 3 folds, MP1 calls t20, MP2 calls t20, 1 fold, CO calls t20, Hero calls t20, SB completes, BB checks. Flop: (t120) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 players) SB checks, BB bets t140, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, CO folds, Hero folds... If what you're saying is that this is winner take all, play it like a 75bb deep cash game. Raise preflop. Since you didn't, fold flop.
