I like a PF cap here a lot if you kidn of have a very laid back image. Getting two bets in on the flop or 3 if you lead out is a good thing. Lead turn.

I usually c/r the flop. If I dont its certainly with the intention of c/r a turn like this.

BTW since he is capable of folding: If he 3-bets my flop c/r I c/r again on this turn.

I rarely check-raise the flop here simply because I hate it when I get 3bet. When we get 3bet, it doesn't necessarily mean we are way behind, but means that we are going to make a mistake some of the time when we fold the turn (when we have outs to see the river vs. hands like AK/AQ/A9). So I like the check/call on the flop.

On the turn, I check-raise quite often, probably more than half the time. This is simply because I will win without a showdown a decent amount of the time and there are so many good cards in the deck that getting 3-bet wouldn't sting very much. I would probably rate a turn donk or check-raise as better plays than checking and calling. I think you need to do something on the turn here to try and improve your chances. That means checking and calling is probably the worst play of the three.

The question is, when you do check-raise this turn, what do you do when called and the river blanks? Today I made a similar play to yours (flush draw + overcard) on the turn and had to bluff the river uncomfortably (thankfully it worked). You would think that all non-paired hands including AK will fold to a river bet often enough once they are check-raised on the turn.
