Default A-hi pissing contest with a maniac

CO in this hand is the biggest retard ever. He mixed up his play by chasing and capping 1-3 outers. Rest of the table are average Party 1020 donks. The other villain was 40/20 type. I ran pretty good so far.
On the river I considered a call definetely EV+ but folding out a pair would be a big coup.

Read is on CO actually. I edited it. We cant put him on anything. As he checked the turn it probably is less likely he has a pair or FD-but who knows, he may have decided he should slowplay a FH.
I probably was ahead of the other donk too, but there was some chance he had a small pp he would fold to a raise.

CO Coldcalls with A8.

Button shows 33.

Button shows AQ.

etc.

doesn't strike me as a +EV raise. The button has to have AJ, AT, or KJ for you to win the pot (or some other crap).
Plus if the CO is that crazy, he may just coldcall his 22 or whatever.

I think your line is too weired for button to fold anything. Why didn't you bet the turn?

Sry guys. I messed this all up. BT is the maniac. CO is 40/20 LAG. I should stop posting.

Are you referring to the flop or river? What do you think their likely holdings are after the turn gets checked through?
We have to at least call the river, right? I assume I am ahead of BT more often then not considering his turn check so we have to fold a better CO hand about 1 time out of 10 to make the extra bet EV+.

Co is loose and aggressive but not a maniac.

the flop is a spew, the river is a waste of money. you will rarely win with A-hi here, not nearly enough to warrant this raise.

Wtf are you guys talking about - you think the maniac checks behind the turn with a pair or a draw?
