$30 steal with a $200 stack at a 1/2 nl live?

No good. No good at all.

I understand that in live poker, this can sometimes become the average preflop raise, but as the enlightened two plus two-er in the game, you shouldn't be coming in for that much with a drawing hand. Instead, you should be saving your ammo for better hands so you can tear this game apart.

If that raise is getting action, save that raise for your better hands,

Played as is you have put yourself in a bad spot. With no other info availible, I think your best line is fold, rebuy, and be more patient next time.

Yeah - I called the turn bet, hoping to improve and folded to a 1/2PSB on the river when I didn't.

pf and flop are fine imo. Just fold the turn.

I'm getting 4.5 to 1 on the turn bet, and I figure I have 6-9 outs (although some of them might chop).
Is a call a small mistake here or a big one, in your opinion?

post edited, because I'm an idiot.

I totally didn't read the 5 limpers part.

$30 still seems excessive. (I'd have gone to to $15). But $30 isn't as bad as I made it out to be.
