You could have avoided the difficult situation you found yourself in in hand 1 by raising PF though occasionally going for a l/rr is ok. This would be very read dependent for me. Againt an unknown I'm not too crazy about stacking off here. If you know hes a donk or know him to be overaggressive with draws then I dont mind stacking off.

Hand 2 is so mind numbingly standard.

i'm still in the same session: someone else just got KK and stacked off to my 2pr, so maybe there is a god.

Hand 1: fold to the flop re-raise. When your limp-re-raise backfires, you have to be cautious about going broke unimproved in a limped pot.

Hand 2: zzzz... standard.

After the LRR didn't work out, there were so many possible scare cards that could come on the turn, that calling can't possibly be right, and I don't think I can fold KK there.. so I thought the shove was best.
What would you have done?

You really fold there? Aren't you folding to KQ, QJ, QT a lot of the time? I see people reraising there with a lot of crap. Maybe that's because I'm stealing a lot.

You're rarely a big favorite there. People don't 3-bet with top pair (no redraw) in limped pots unless they are the biggest of donks.

If you had RAISED pre-flop, that would have been a different story.

in looking at the hand again, I think you are right. The weak lead, small reraise should have set off my spidey sense that someone was trying to bleed me.
Oh well. Live & learn.
