Re: 25NL call all-in preflop with flush draw?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] this isn't preflop, this is on the flop and yes call [/ QUOTE ] Sorry about the confusion...I was really tired when I was adding this post. Can one of the mods change "preflop" to "flop re-raise" in the subject line? Thanks in advance. [/ QUOTE ] mkay done. |

preflop raise would be wrong? [/ QUOTE ] A preflop raise would be incorrect here. A suited Ace is a pulling hand (Omaha 8/b terminology, but applies in hold'em too). With a suited Ace, you want as many people in the hand as possible hoping to flop a big draw like I did. With only two others in the hand who limped, raising preflop in this situation might take down the pot and that's exactly what I didn't want. I just didn't expect such a big confrontation on the flop AC |

okay, you most likely have all these outs: 2 outs for 888 3 outs to make AA88 9 outs to make your flush draw 14 outs. That's > 50% to hit one of these by the end. That means you're the favourite even if it was even money. You're getting better than even money. [/ QUOTE ] You are right sir...I just ran the numbers. In fact, villain played this hand way too aggressive. He had J9o and probably feels like he was out drawn (which he was), but I don't believe he made the right play. He's only getting called by hands that already have him beat, or something like mine.
