Default Level Up

It seems everytime lately, I get to the proper bankroll requirements I level up. Most recently I started multitabling 5-10 and 10-20. During my most recent session I had AA cracked preflop all in twice, vs KK and JJ respectively. And then proceeded to lose another buyin with KK on a Queen high flop vs a flopped top two pair. My game is structured where I win a lot of medium range pots on drawing hands. It seems big pairs have been devastating my bankroll....advice....

I was definately hemmoraging from the neck at that point. Downtick 3800 of my 20k bankroll, leveling down in discouragement.

Well if 3-5 buyins hurt your bankroll think about your bankrollmanagement again.
I dont play these limits but i guess you should have at least 50 buyins so loosing 5 wouldnt hurt much.
Your bankroll seems waaaaaaaay to low for the limits you play..

Bankroll is fine. Move up to chase losses. It's easy to win 4K at 25/50

Last time I made the move to clear a loss, I moved to 25-50, waited for a set with 4000 in front, some stacks with over 10k at the table. Im in late position with 77...facing a 225 raise and call. Flop comes off 9 7 2, utg raiser bets out the pot nearly 1k, middle position smooth calls, I push my remainder. He calls with QQ, turns a queen and after I comment that it was a bad play he says i was to short stacked to fold..blah blah blah...downtick 8k for the session. So much for chasing losses with another level up.

Uh, sounds like that one worked perfectly (except for the suckout, of course). You should do it again. No way he hits ANOTHER two outer!

Is it reasonable to simply stay at one level without the prospect of a level up or is it just our nature to always want to see higher competition and value. I am losing my taste for high limit poker, it almost makes the money not even feel real. I mean a 60 inch plasma 1080p tv cost less than losing set vs set...haha
