Fantasy Basketball Hypothetical
Had a discussion with a buddy yesterday that sparked this debate.
Hypothetical: You’re a GM in the NBA who has been given the opportunity to select any two players to build a team around. You would like to compete for a championship immediately, as well as have a strong tandem for the next four or five years as well. Who would you choose? I would select Howard/Paul. He says he would choose Bryant/Duncan. Who has more championships in the long run? Any better combos? Why? |

Re: Fantasy Basketball Hypothetical
Lebron/Howard, probably. Or Lebron/KG. Or Lebron/Paul. If it doesn't involve Lebron in some way, something is wrong.

Re: Fantasy Basketball Hypothetical
Wouldn't be great for the long term, but how sick would a KG/Duncan frontcourt be??!!!
Everyone seems to love to match a great post player with a great perimeter guy, but I think its more fun to imagine two of the same playing together. bitch dat moan county |

Re: Fantasy Basketball Hypothetical
You'd get better responses with a better thread title.

Re: Fantasy Basketball Hypothetical
Oh yea...somehow I forgot about Wade. I'd go Wade/Lebron. You guys are too concerned with "team building". You don't need an inside guy and an outside guy. Take the two best players and fill in from there.
