I like the idea of mixing it up. So maybe for pumpkin (or whatever), have a little more structured nature to the contest.

O.K., let's do next month's challenge old school Iron Chef OOT style. If anyone has an incomplete entry (entree without app, dessert without anything else...) we'll just put them in a separate poll--a sort of Miss Congeniality contest. Sound good?
