Re: AK flop raise (25 fr)
Raise is up preflop $3.5. You don't want to see a bunch of people in with you w/ A,K,
On flop your raise is probably good. $2 seems like it's showing weakness, but at NL$25 it's kinda hard to tell what $2 means. I would prob make it $6 on the flop |

Re: AK flop raise (25 fr)
I'm about 50/50 vs his pfr range, but I also have to consider that he may three-bet me or make his hand more difficult to read if I reraise him now. Then again, maybe I'll get some FE by reraising, which would be nice.
I hear you, re: not wanting more players in the hand. |

Re: AK flop raise (25 fr)
Allowing yourself to see this flop with 3 opponents is a clear mistake. AK plays best headsup or against 2 opponents at most. It's extremely expensive when you flop an ace or king and an opponent has some junky two pair or big draw.
Also, if you're going to raise on the flop, you should raise more than to 5. That's begging for a caller. |

Re: AK flop raise (25 fr)
you should raise pf, mp1 having yet to act should discorage a raise from utg, and you don't want to play AKo multiway.
I quite like the raise, assuming that he's not passive and will cbet, but i'd raise a bit more here. |

Re: AK flop raise (25 fr)
Does it really matter that you have AK here? i dont quite think it does matter all that much. You can do these kind of raises with any two. Im not gonna comment if its 100% good or 100% bad, because it really is good time from time, and it really depends on what kind of player you are facing here.
I would also advise you to reraise preflop, this is usually much better play preflop in this kind of spot. |

Re: AK flop raise (25 fr)
as played, if you want to raise flop to take it down, make it 10 or so. no one is going to fold to your 3 dollar raise

Re: AK flop raise (25 fr)
For the people who say to reraise PF. Is this something that you would do mainly at 6-max or also at full ring?
