I just remembered Equilibrium with Christian Bale and Tae Diggs. It was set in a dystopian future where people were drugged up at all times and no art or historical artifacts were allowed because otherwise people would 'feel' and then that would just lead to anarchy.

i have worked on an embarassing number of movies mentioned here.
the most despicably anger inducing movie i've ever seen is crash, but there was some craft and art involved in it, so i guess it's not really the worst. worst as in absolutely useless in every way, i guess the air up there? that terrible kevin bacon movie.
