Any idea if the $99 rate is available to non-Total Rewards card holders? Never played at Harrah's but would love to play Event 1 if I could get a room for $99.
Also, slightly off topic - how is the Harrah's poker room/daily tournaments in general? I've always played at the Borgata.

[/ QUOTE ] You have to have a Total Rewards card to register in any of the tournaments, so you might as well get one ahead of time (can you do this online?) and try and get the room rate with it.

Newbie - Can you register for the tournaments in advance? (no Harrahs' player card) If not, how early should I get there to get registered for the Noon event on Sat. Dec 8th?

I don't believe that Harrah's is allowing offsite or internet pre-reg. In the past there has always been a huge line as the tournament start time nears for the lower buy-in weekend tournaments. If you don't want to wait for hours, I recommend arriving no later than 9am or stopping by the night before. The night before you'll probably have to register at the main casino cage.

Anyone know how the SNG satellites to small events are working, or should I call to get that info? I think I'll plan on driving up Saturday night and playing in Event 2.

The time to get a Total Rewards card shouldn't be ignored. On the morning of a weekend preliminary event it could take a significant amount of time. I can't tell you how long as it's been a while since I didn't have one.
P.S. Can't register for a tourney in NJ unless it's in person on site.

I'll be in AC nov 20th and 21st and was planning on buying in then. I recall asking harrahs about when they were going to start selling the circuit events and i can't remember the exact date they said, however i do remember that I concluded from their answer that I would be able to buyin during my november trip so you should be fine..... Sorry...marijuana affects short term memory! c u all at the circuit
