Default NL50, JJ gets limp reraised by second limper

NL50, no read on the UTG+1, Button could have pretty much any two.

Does people really do this with AA-QQ? I`m mostly a tournament player and when poeople do this they pretty much always have mid pp, AJ or KQ kind of hands.

UTG ($64)
UTG+1 ($37)
MP ($36)
Button ($50.5)
Hero ($48.5)
BB ($48.5)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.50, UTG+1 calls $0.50, MP folds, Button calls $0.50, Hero raises to $3.5, BB folds, UTG folds, UTG+1 raises to $6.5, Button calls $6.5, Hero?

Second limper or not, limp re raises are almost exclusively AA and KK, but much more skewed towards AA. I have seen people limp the button and re raise, thinking they are getting all tricky. Of course I tell myself theres no way thats AA, but then they show me AA obviously. I fold here without a read.

I agree this is likely AA/KK but disagree on the fold. The RR is way too small and with BTN calling this is a call for set value.

Oh whoops sorry, I didnt see the button called, then yea this is a clear call but only for set value. Please dont stack off when the flop comes 822.

And you are getting set value paying $3 into $20.

I'm usually turfing this hand on flop if I don't hit btw.

Given that it was a min reraise I would say his range is strongly weighted to AA and KK with an unlikely QQ and AK. People especially like to limp monsters UTG. That said, the last couple of times I have been limp reraised it was AK. Limp 4bet allin is one move I have seen with AK before.

I would call for set value and fold pretty much any flop. Make a note on the guy, too.

3 into a >20 dollar pot? Call all day, c/f if the flop comes anything other than a J.

lol what do we do if flop comes A J x or K J x?

Get it in regardless I'd say. AA stacks off on a K high flop, and even on an A flop he might have AK, although I would feel a lot less excited about it.
