Is anyone watching the Grey Cup? The game is much better than I expected it would be.

I was born and raised in Canada, but still would normally would watch any NFL game over the Grey cup. However, today I watched most of the game, and all it did was remind me why I don't like the 3-down (run, pass, kick) CFL.

It seems there is no way for a team to develop a drive, or to gather momentum. I realize that both offences struggled in this game, but just the same, there is little or no flow to the CFL game.

I prefer the NFL because of the ball control aspect of the game, and the fact that running and power play more critical roles in the NFL.

I do believe the CFL is a great training ground for potential NFL QBs, and CBs, and DBs, though. But, for some reason, I just can't get into the CFL game with so many possesion changes.

i too don't like the constant change of possession in the CFL... i don't think the 3 downs has anything to do with it being such an entertaining product. big field, lots of stop time in 4th quarter (something the NFL should emulate) and guys in motion have more effect i think (might be forgetting another one. larger endzone and goal posts at TD line. i don't personally care that much about singles, missed FG returns or no-yards)

thought that was a lousy game. winnipeg needed its QB... although if winnipeg played better, i'd assume joseph puts the riders on his back in the the fourth quarter.

As far as the CFL goes, my mantra has always been that there is nothing better than a good CFL game, and nothing worse than a bad (pass pass punt) CFL game.
