Many good artists mentioned already, but I can add Papoose to the list. Pretty sick rapper

Papoose - Ghetto soldier

Papoose - Alphabetical Slaughter

any Tribe Called Quest or Jurassic 5. I would say Dead Prez but I don't know if chicks would like it.

Roots would be good too, depending on the girl. If you're driving to a casino and want to get in a good mindset, the Roots' album Game Theory is a must.

i really like this song:

8 miles and runnin'

[/ QUOTE ]

In the related videos of that there's an Eminem video "Rabbit Run" that is really good. Going unnecessarily technical he shows really, really good breath control. It's absolutely not a song to play for a girl(girls love catchy hooks, the song is one 3 minute long single verse), but it's a well written song performed fantastically.

Nobody in this thread has mentioned Big L yet. Da Graveyard is an excellent song and has a pre-Reasonable Doubt Jay-Z.

[/ QUOTE ]
Here's more pre reasonable doubt jay-z (with big l). He used to rap fast, some say biggie influenced him to change to a slower flow.
