Very weird call down
Folded to my SB and I steal with Jc9s, BB calls.
Flop: AxAc4c, 4 sb I bet, he calls. Turn: Kc, 3bb I check, he bets, I call. River: Ax, 5bb I check, he bets, I call. |

Re: Very weird call down
I can dig it up until the river which I think is a check and fold. I don't think he bets the turn without a pair, but certainly it's possible. When he bets the river he has to be desperate, and I don't think he's that desperate here with a small pot and a turn play that didn't persuade hero to fold.
I understand the river call here since BB could have an 8 high club draw and bluff the river with it. Since we have the J of clubs, villain would have to have the Qc to have a better club draw. So if indeed he is semibluffing the turn and bluffing the river, chances are we have the best hand. Without a read, it's hard to tell whether this villain is betting the turn and river on a draw or with a full house. he could have 8c6x or 53s, it's hard to tell. Tough hand, not really sure what to do on the river here. Certainly c/c the turn is right. |

Re: Very weird call down
I don't really like the rivercall. You will lose mostly in this spot. Why no bet on the turn? Why no cr on the turn?
@MartynasD: You seem to be really too result orientied and don't look at the play. |

Re: Very weird call down
Why are we bet/3-betting the turn gehrig? You see we have Jack high only, right? We've also got the 2nd nut FD, obv, but is that really worth a bet/3-bet on the turn? Especially with no reads provided? Can I assume you just misread the hand?
