CBB has been my favorite sport and time of year since before I can remember, literally. I'd assume people who feel similarly just read everything we can. And watch all we can, and talk to other people and etc.

As Naj said basically nutshot and I read everything we can get our hands on about the teams. This early in the year I think a smart better really has an advantage because they don't seem to adjust from last year to this year quickly. That's why alot of our bets are kinda crazy units wise but if we see an edge we like to push it.

my biggest bet last year, by a WIDE margin, was AF over Stanford in very early season. I think AF won by 40.

lean Memphis here with Dorsey back and Cal at MSG.

This just in, Memphis is pretty good. Capel can't coach yet either.

Illinois -3 @ Hawai'i bet 4.32u to win 4u

first play of the year

Hawai'i has lost a few key players, including their two ballhandlers. While the Illini rotation is still being worked out, Illinois' defense is really, really good. They were 3rd in KenPom adjusted d last year and look to be just as good this year. The home fans are not buying into the new bball regime on Oahu yet. The crowd tonight will be lame as most are watching the football team.
Unlike most opponents to Hawai'i, the Illini have already been on the islands for a few days to get their clocks adjusted. Weber planned this trip out very carefully.
