Link to Negreanu post regarding Annie Duke from a few years back

A friend & me have been searching all morning for this post (Negreanu really going off on Annie Duke, saying she smelled, etc.) and cannot find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? It was originally a RGP post but I'm having no luck searching there either. Was hoping it was in the archives here.

I've been wondering for a long time how that all panned out, if they've made up or not.

When I first started watching poker I was a Lederer/Duke fan atfirst, like everyone else and when I read about that incident in Annie's book I really wanted to know who had said those things so I could hate him, lol. (In her book she didn't say who it was.) By the time I found out it was Daniel he had become my favorite player, so that left me in a real bind.

Now I think Annie is a little bit of a bitch and Daniel needs to keep his opinions to himself a little more, but they're still both good people at heart and certainly no worse or more annoying than most of us, just under the microscope all the time.

Would still be interested to know if they buried the hatchet.

There's an episode of Poker Superstars III where Daniel plays and Annie does guest commentary along with Howard and Chris Rose. Knowing about their past, I listened intently for any subtle signs of bashing, but I didn't hear any. They were both very complimentary of Daniel's play and the preparation he had done for the tournament.

I was doing the same thing during that episode. Also in the back of Annie's book she lists short bios of several players she mentioned and was very professional with Daniels. You wouldn't have guessed there was anything wrong.

Either they made up or Howard and Annie are very classy.

They've been very professional whenever they've been together on camera -- Howard and Daniel at the 2004 WSOP PLO, Daniel and Annie on the Poker Corner episode, all three of them at the 2004 ToC.

I'd suspect they just agreed to disagree and at least appear professional on TV.

This is so three years ago.

Daniel apologized publicly saying that he was wrong. Then they started a positive friendship.

End of story.
