Default fun lil clusterf%#@ @ foxwoods 1-2 nl.

1-2 nl at foxwoods

utg raises to 7 (invitation raise ), 3 call to me
i call
sb goes all in for 18 total, call call call call

4 to the flop

k87 flop

utg raiser bets 6
call
call
i call
old guy behind me (on button) makes it 20 to go

all fold besides young mp caller

2 live to the turn, 1 player all in.

7 turn
young guy checks
old guy- bets 65
young guy tanks for about 2 minutes and calls.

8 river
young guy checks
old guy "i'm all in"
young guy tanks again

young guy, "ALRIGHT YOU GOT ME" and flips his KJ faceup in the middle of the table while standing up and looking disoriented...

chatty dealer scoops kj facedown and slides it into the muck.

someone asks what the dealer was doing since the young guy "called".....

table erupts in confusion....

notes.

young guy had about 80% of his stack in by the river, so i can't really see him folding that far in...

some players at the table heard him say, "I call, you got me", others merely heard "alright you got me"

once old guy sees that the hand might be declared live, he gets pretty upset because it looked like a fold (and he was clearly showing that KJ was indeed good)

young guy never moved chips forward
floor comes over and gathers all this information

young guys hand

If the kid tabled his hand face up = live cards.

If he threw it into muck even face up = cards are dead.

Cards speak. You can say anything, cards speak.

Dead. Saying anything other than, "I call", you deserve to lose a pot.

This isn't the WPT, keep your stupid speeches for your beer game with your buddies.

chips should be pushed into the center if it's a call. the combination of him throwing his cards in, and his chips staying where they are means his hand is dead.

On a side note. I hate playing 1-2 at foxwoods.

Standard.

blinden84 is correct that the KJ fellow doesn't deserve to win the pot.

But I believe the correct prodcedure would be for the dealer to wait until the player who flipped up the cards commits to an action. If everyone just sits there dumbfounded, anyone at the table could ask for time. At the very least, the old guy chould ask, "Was there an action?" The dealer should certainly make sure the action is clear before pushing the pot.

meh

floor came over and ruled that if it was headsup his hand would have been dead.

due to the third player being all in it was a live hand though and that he called..

it was such a mess, the kids hand definitely should have been dead. he became adament on getting his hand live once he saw the concern from the oldguy bluffin a straight draw hard and gettin pinned.....

side notes

old guy had previously lost a 400 dollar pot w/ 44 v 22 on a 842 flop WEEEEE

kid who replaced oldguy value bet his straight on t he river 3 way, first opponent folded and second was stackin his chips to call w/ a set....

kid threw is straight in face down and forfeited the pot by not paying attention.....

DOYYYY.

I've had someone throw in their hand face down, not push in their chips, and have another person in the hand act on the knowledge they had folded, but since one person next to them heard them whisper call, floor pulled their hand out of the muck and ruled it live. Situations like this are horrible and make me want to smack people.

The player's KJ hand is live and he has the option to call or fold.
