How do I load images so they appear in post ?(I did read the faq BTW)

How do I get images to appear in a post and be at a size where people can see them clearly?

I read the Faq and thought I followed the directions but my image is small and forces readers to click on it and go to another web page in order to view it

I set up an account at imageshack to host my image, is there a better place to do this so the link doesn't attach to the image?

When you host on imageshack, use the URL next to "Direct link to image", and put it in image tags as jman directed.
