Default AJs utg facing BTN reraise

stats are unknown as i just was moved to the table. the stacks at the table were all pretty short compared to the blinds and the average of the rest of the tournament.

I'd open shove preflop and not think too much about it. as played, looks like a fold.

i definitely DISAGREE. the open shove part is ok. but now that you have put money in and there is an overlay from the caller you MUST gamble here. 77-1010 is definitely part of the range.

shove preflop, as played you don't have any FE by shoving, but your odds are too good to fold imo. I'd have a look at the flop and get it in with a flush-draw or on any ace.

here's the complete hand. obviously it was a fluke that he actually had aces here. the reason i didn't open push is because my M was still 8.73 pre-flop and i thought that i could just raise and get away from the hand if i didnt hit the flop and still have an M of 7. i don't like playing AJ OOP. I usually don't start open pushing till i get below 6-5.

Not for nothing, dude...but that's exactly when you want
to shove these hands! Please never open raise at ~8M
with the plan to fold.
