I went whitewater rafting in West Virginia yesterday.

Beat: I was flung off the raft in Class 5 rapids by a monster wave known as "The Cloud Temple".

More Beat: Even though I was a varsity swimmer in high school and had a lifejacket on, I was still dragged under for a bit.

Variance: I was pulled back onto the raft shortly after falling off.

Brag: In retrospect, falling off was sweet.


A dude was videotaping/taking pics of us and he got this sweet shot shortly after we hit the wave.
