I'd make it ~60, probably fold to reraise unless I have a sick read.

I agree with xSCWX here. I would raise here every time, to anywhere between 50 and 60.

Would you raise a bare Ace here? If not, I don't think a solid villain is calling with worse than aces up, maybe 98, J8.

I raised to 60 and he thought a long time before calling. When he took that much time, somehow I realized he had A3. He had exactly that and said: "I'll pay you off" and called.

Now is he a nit or am I a maniac? Possibly both. He took really long before calling.

Sucks, but you definitely made the right play. I think most players would call you here with A2.

i raise this every time, and fold to a push. no reason to think you are behind, therefore you should raise for value and let him have a decision

On second thought, a min raise might confuse him into calling enough with worse hands and you can safely fold to a push.
