wanted to wait for some responses before i said what i told him.

i said shoving is terrible and in fact folding is better, but i would call and c/f river unless board paired.

I like leading the flop casue you may trap the fish inbtween you and the button. c/r is fine if you know for sure the fish will bet. But I think leading looks weaker to both the fish and the regular here probably.

As for the turn I would CC the min 3bet

Flop check is an absolute nightmare. It's over four years since Chris Moneymaker graced our TV sets on ESPN, I have to wonder why people still check hands like this on flops, and then decide to play huge pots on streets when their hands worsen.

As far as the turn, BTN is likely huge here, so call, re-eval river.
