Shajen - how much do you make a year? Maybe we can take up a collection in OOT which will cover it, and you can become a regular OOT poster again for a living.

Shajen, awesome to see you back, if only very briefly.

amplify, yeah I suck at making threads too, as someone mentioned upthread. That's why giving OPs a * so indiscriminately could be a problem: no OPs = no replies = no forum, LDO.

If you want to talk "old school" I have seen this thread (or a version of it) at least 5 times in the 8 years I've been reading 2p2 ("the content in OOT is getting bad, what's the problem?"). When I first started on 2p2, OOT was a huge amalgamation of things - I remember posting Vegas trip reports (heavy on gambling/poker content). I can remember Dynasty and Clarkmeister being heavy parts of OOT.

I definitely think the fracturing of the forums has led to OOT moving from a "catch all" that had people with quality to post but not sure where to post it, to a place where people have garbage to post it, but know it's specifically forbidden in other forums, so they dump it on OOT. To be honest, I would have difficulty thinking of a thread to start for OOT that I wouldn't think would fit in another forum better.

I definitely look at OOT every day, but must admit I prefer BBV4L as the tone is more friendly, and the content much funnier.

I would just like to say that the other day I learned the difference between interior decoration and interior design from OOT.

Dids,

Do as you see fit with Johnny's *, but when I come out West in August I am going to initiate a 10k fight yo for your traitorous actions. By then you should be more or less in my weight class.

As far as this thread goes, I only know two things for sure:

I'm drunk right now.

And OOT could use more Shajen.

work has been my world lately....since I moved up here to NoVa.

I've been to DC 3 times in the 5 months I've been here. Working 70-80 hours a week/weekends. Tons of work to be done.

No time for OOT, IRC, or El D's forum.

Thanks for the shoutout. I check 2+2 about 1 time a month.
