apparently everything is being removed from party store on jan 16th and cash forpoints will be offerd, any thoughts on weather the cash will be worthwhile or should i buy now?

I'm not sure where you heard about the cash option. This is an email I received a few days ago after I tried to go online and redeem my points and the page wouldn't load after repeated attempts:

Dear XXXXX,

Thank you for contacting PartyPoker.

I would like to inform you that we experienced a technical issue with the "my account" pages earlier today.

Since the issue should have been resolved, I would like to ask you to try again.

Bare in mind please that you can only redeem your party points for merchandise items and that you are unable to redeem them for cash money.

I hope this answers your question.

thats a dumb form response and it doesn't necessarily mean they won't be converted to cash when the program is cancelled
