CLA Suppliment?

At the advice of a store working at my local vitamin store, I have started taking the CLA suppliment to help me with some weight loss - mainly trying to burn fat/stomach fat. I'm not really overweight, just looking to lose about 5lbs -- but the real reason is to cut up.

They have me taking 4 pills/day and claim that after 30-60 days time it will help speed up the amount of fat burnt.

Anyone take CLA or have any feedback? I don't want to waste cash, but would like to take something that will help....

I have taken it for a while, and don't think it works by itself, at least for me. But when taken with guarana and a solid amount of green tea, it does seem to have helped a little bit in burning fat. But the effect even when paired with what is supposed to help it out a bit is still quite minor.

IMO, no point in bothering with this type of supp at all unless your diet is 100% completely in order.

Also, you can't just burn stomach fat - doesn't work that way.

If you want more specific feedback, you will probably get a better response at a lifting/supplement forum like t-nation.
